Second day (if you don’t count the day we got in late). Managed a bit of gym for both cardio and, to use their word, “musculation”. I love that term – I don’t really think we have a word for that in English.

So, just chilling out again today. Hopefully get out on the water this afternoon, although still not much wind to actually go windsurfing. Might kayak if there isn’t much wind.

Can’t complain really – life is pretty good.

It’s been a good day. Two hours of gym work all up.

Nice day. Been to the gym. Eating low carbohydrate (mostly!). Generally enjoying myself and chilling out. Got in late last night, was really wet. Plane actually had to pull up at the last minute and retry the landing.

So it was pretty wet when we got in. And dark, after an hour of winding our way around the coastline to Le Morne.

Off again. Need the break I think

One week in on the low carb thing. 3 down.

Started on Saturday in fact, and aiming to go low carb for the next four weeks – just to see what can be achieved. Also to help when away on holidays.

Also aiming to do more exercise as part of the package.

Another off road ride. Mostly because my road bike is still broken..

I still think I’m lucky in the scheme of things

So bizzare. A bit less sleep than I should have had. I blame Netflix and the whole first season of Russian Doll for that.

Then there is all this stuff happening around me. It feels strangely peripheral. Perhaps it affects others more. I keep feeling that that there is an island of stability around some turbulent waters here.

And I’m really just making a note of this to myself for future reference.
